Initially independent consultant, later employee of Nerac Canada. Prepared scientific, engineering and intellectual property reports for client companies.
SENSOR TECHNOLOGY LIMITED - Collingwood, ON: 1999 – 2006.
R&D Manager: Managed research and development contracts from the Canadian Department of National Defense (DND), the US Office of Naval Research (ONR), and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) on piezoelectric materials, devices and systems.
EG&G OPTOELECTRONICS – Vaudreuil, QC: 1997 – 1999.
Senior Member of Technical Staff: Supervised electro-optic device fabrication and optimized the fabrication process using computer simulation tools and designed experiments.
LITTON SYSTEMS CANADA LIMITED – Etobicoke, ON: 1989 – 97.
Staff Scientist: Developed active matrix technology for liquid crystal displays and x-ray image sensors.
TPK INTERNATIONAL INC. – Nepean, ON: 1987 – 1988.
Research Scientist: Completed the start-up and optimization of a solar cell fabrication line and performed research on anti-reflection coatings.
